The Marvel Cinematic Universe's Multiverse Saga has seen the debut of several heroes in a short timespan due to the increase of projects being released every year, and many of these new MCU heroes could have helped the Avengers take down Thanos in the Infinity Saga. With significant crossovers, the MCU's Avengers films are the undisputed main events of the franchise. The heroes lost in Avengers: Infinity War, having to resort to time travel in one of the MCU's best movies, Avengers: Endgame, to undo the destruction the Mad Titan had caused. However, they might not have needed to go that far had some of the powerful heroes who debuted in the Multiverse Saga arrived in the MCU's timeline a little earlier.
One of the most powerful Multiverse Saga characters is Franklin Richards, who possesses the same Power Cosmic as Galactus and was able to resurrect his mom while still being a baby. Franklin would definitely be on the list if he were older because he could be very helpful against Thanos. However, numerous adult heroes of the powerful and/or genius level could have assisted in defeating Thanos, including:
15. The Thing
First up is one of the members of the MCU's Fantastic Four, the Thing. One of Marvel Comics' strongest heroes, the character is well-known for his physical prowess. Sadly, a direct fight with Thanos would have ended in defeat for the Thing. Ben Grimm would have succumbed to the same fate as the Mad Titan, who defeated the Hulk with ease in a fistfight. He could have helped in a team effort though.
14. Human Torch

Another Fantastic Four member on the list is Joseph Quinn's Human Torch. The Fantastic Four: First Steps brought to life the smartest live-action version of the character, giving him an edge when fighting villains.
Johnny Storm has the ability to fly, control flames, and even absorb them. He would likely be able to do some damage to Thanos, but if his family was in danger, the hero might act on impulse similarly to Star-Lord.
13. Gambit

Gambit, played by Channing Tatum, was Deadpool & Wolverine's breakout hero. The MCU gave Gambit his comic book powers, being able to imbue objects with kinetic energy and explode them.
Gambit may have been able to kill Thanos with him through a sacrifice play similar to the one in X-Men: 97. Thanos could have easily defeated Gambit with the Infinity Gauntlet in a one-on-one battle with the Mad Titan.
12. Tobey Maguire & Andrew Garfield's Spider-Men

I decided to bundle the multiverse Spider-Men because their powers are basically the same, even though Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man appears to be the strongest live-action Spider-Man and Andrew Garfield's Peter Parker is more technological. The Marvel Cinematic Universe demonstrated that the Spider-Men can devise a strategy to eliminate a number of perilous villains when they work together. That might have worked well against Thanos if the Spider-Men had set a trap similar to Titan's instead of fighting him.
11. Shang-Chi

There are two versions of Shang-Chi to analyze. The first is the hand-to-hand fight expert, who would be able to defeat many MCU heroes, but is simply not strong enough to take out someone who could box the Hulk and win.
However, with an upgrade from the Ten Rings, the fight would get interesting. I would love to see how the Ten Rings' enormous power fares against Thanos' Infinity Stones. Based on both artifacts' feats, Thanos would likely still come on top, but it could be close.
10. Deadpool

The healing aspect of Deadpool would make things interesting. In essence, Ryan Reynolds' MCU hero should not be able to die permanently. It's possible that Deadpool will keep returning and causing trouble. However, in comparison to Deadpool, Thanos would not sustain significant injuries in a fight. That applies to the villain's version with and without the Infinity Gauntlet as well.
9. Wolverine
Hugh Jackman's Wolverine, like Reynolds' Deadpool, possesses a potent healing power. Logan ranks higher than Deadpool on the list because not only is he more violent, but he has more experience.
While the MCU's Wolverine might not be the same as the Fox X-Men movies, he still came from a universe where he was part of the mutant team. Years of adventures with the X-Men would have made him a powerful team player in the Avengers' plans.
8. She-Hulk

She-Hulk is without a doubt one of the Multiverse Saga's most formidable heroes in terms of brute strength. Although Mark Ruffalo's Hulk was defeated by Thanos, we saw how easily She-Hulk adapted to her dual life. Jennifer Walters had way less trouble adjusting to being She-Hulk. During her training with the Hulk, it even seemed that, with enough time, she could surpass his power. If no Infinity Stones were in play, She-Hulk might have worried Thanos while fighting alongside the Avengers.
7. Mister Fantastic

The fact that Reed Richards is so high on the list may surprise many. No, the MCU character played by Pedro Pascal does not merit this high ranking because I believe he would be able to fight off Thanos. The fact that Reed truly appeared to be the smartest man alive in The Fantastic Four: First Steps is the reason for his placement. He solved every problem in his universe and created a trap for Galactus that worked. Reed could have done the same thing to Thanos, in my opinion.
6. Invisible Woman

The final member of the MCU's Fantastic Four on the list is Vanessa Kirby's Sue Storm. In addition to being brilliant, Sue's powers and adaptability would have made her one of the Avengers' most effective weapons against Thanos. In her MCU debut, Sue was able to protect her team with force fields, make an entire spaceship invisible, and even pushed Galactus throughout New York City. That last feat put her in the upper echelon of power in the MCU, enough to harm Thanos.
5. Charles Xavier

Charles Xavier is not a physical force, but no other hero could get into Thanos' mind like him. Mantis was successful in putting Thanos to sleep for a brief period of time, and as a result, the heroes in Avengers: Infinity War nearly defeated him on Titan. I think the Avengers could have won if they had Professor X on their side. Charles would be powerful enough to put Thanos out of his mind for the time it would take to eliminate him. The Illuminati, led by Xavier, killed their Thanos on Earth-838.
4. Black Bolt

Like Patrick Stewart's alternate universe Charles Xavier, Anson Mount's Black Bolt from Earth-838 was also part of the team that killed Thanos. Black Bolt is easily one of the MCU's most powerful characters.
Any and every sound that Black Bolt makes is extremely dangerous, likely enough to pulverize even a formidable character like Thanos. However, considering that the Scarlet Witch killed Black Bolt by removing his mouth, it's possible that Thanos could have carried out the same action with the Reality Stone.
3. Ikaris

The top three includes two characters with somewhat similar abilities. Ikaris by Richard Madden comes first. One of the Marvel heroes that DC's Superman influenced was the MCU character. Ikaris can fly, shoot heat beams from his eyes, and more, like Superman.
Ikaris went up against all the Eternals in the team's movie, before eventually giving up his dark plan. In that time, we could see that Ikaris was easily the most powerful member of the Eternals. The fight between Ikaris and Thanos could have gone the same way Captain Marvel did with him.
2. Sentry

Lewis Pullman's Sentry is the MCU's second Superman-like character, following Ikaris. Even though the Thunderbolts are not Eternals, Sentry easily defeated the team when all of the heroes attempted to fight him simultaneously. Beyond similar powers to Ikaris, Sentry also has a dark side that gives him an edge. With a single gesture, the Void can turn people into shadows on the pavement, forcing them to relive their traumas. Sentry would challenge any version of Thanos, in my opinion.
1. G'iah
Finally, I know G'iah being at the top of the list is going to be controversial. However, regardless of how one feels about the character, Emilia Clarke's hero is unquestionably the most overpowered in the MCU. Not only is she a Skrull, which gives her a set of powers and shape-shifting abilities, but she was given the powers of several MCU heroes, villains, and beings. As such, in a direct fight, G'iah is the MCU Multiverse Saga hero who could have truly made a difference fighting Thanos.
